Yoga & Drumming Holidays

Daily sessions of Yoga and Djembe Drumming gives all guests a 'double hit' of meditation.

Rhythmworks, as well as offering the real African Drumming experience in The Gambia, West Africa, combine two very effective spiritual practices - Drumming and Yoga. Both activities induce and are best practicied with a meditative approach.

There will be early morning Yoga to 'set' and balance the day, calming the mind and preparing the body, for a day of continued relaxation!

In the late afternoon or early evening there will be the Djembe Rhythmworkshops which will encourage the participants to enjoy learning the therapeutic system of meditative percussion techniques. There will be daily drum meditation as well as the practice Rhythm arrangements.
